So, yeah, I've had this blog page up for the past two hours. I've been meaning to blog, but I've gotten side-tracked by some fascinating debates about The Matrix with Jason and Alan. Debating is so much fun. I love being challeneged to think and reason things out. And trying to explain things to people helps me understand things better. Yay for bouncing off ideas on other people. That's why I enjoyed the Big Guns, Big Ambitions forum. Too bad it fell apart. The only person there was to debate with gave up. (sigh). Oh well.
I'm a level 8 Red Mage now. And I'm well on my way to level 9. But I probably won't get another chance to play until Tuesday. Grrrr . . . Oh well.
Oh, and this will not become the Eric's FF XI update blog either. I swear.
I bought Sarah's new CD on Tuesday. It's good, but I'm still developing my final opinion on it. It's very different from her other albums. Heck, all her albums are rather different from eachother. This new one seems much less angsty and calmer than previous ones. The review I read slammed her for her lack of intensity. I don't agree. There is still intensity in the album, just not very much rage. It's hard to explain. But the more I listen to it, the more I like it. It's the same as it was with Surfacing. It's one of those albums that slowly sinks into you, and when it finally does you are enraptured in it, and it is beyond exquisite. Fallen is a very good song. That and Stupid are probably the most "ragey" songs on the album. And Sarah is good when she's "ragey". But then again she's good at whatever she does. There are quite a few tracks that are indistinguishable the first time you listen to them. But after awhile, they each stand on their own, and you can actually understand their individual messages. And Answer is the most beautiful song I have ever heard. Something about it is just so . . . beautiful. And not in a sad way, like Angel. But beautiful in a hopeful way, I suppose. Wow, describing music is really difficult. You practically need to be a poet to descrobe poetry.
And in other news, I have a test in Physiology tomorrow. I need to study for it. And I need to go to World Civ. And talk to Dr. Brewer about catching up. OOiii, I have no idea how I'm going to do all this. I need to scrape out of those two classes with B's. I ought to be able to pull an A out of everything else. So B's will let me keep a good GPA. It shouldn't be too difficult. I just need to get my ass in gear. And the first step is getting off my computer. So, Adieu!
