Yeah, my psychologist thinks I may be slightly ADD. Maybe not bad enough to be clinically ADD, but enough to where it affects my motivation. And hell, half of the rest of my family is on medication for it, so we're going to try to put me on Strattera (like ridilin but not so strong) to see if it helps me concentrate on stupid stuff that I hate to do and can't ever find the motivation for (like homework).
And, well, it couldn't really come at a better time. Well, I guess it could, if it was sooner, but now is good too. Let's see, I had a genetics paper due Tuesday. Didn't get it done. Had an american lit paper due Thursday. Didn't get it done. And because I didn't have the papers done, I skipped class b/c I couldn't stand the embarrassment of having to tell the teacher I didn't have the papers done. So, I'm falling behind again. Grrrr!!! And I'm not proud of it at all. It's pissing me off. I thought I was getting better, and I'm going back to where I was.
Maybe I wasn't really better, but I didn't have play practice to juggle at the same time. MAybe that's it. But damnit, I have to do this. And I should be working on my papers right now, but I'm not. I'm blogging. And talking to Alex. And checking Utopia. And checking Gaia. B/c I can't freaking concentrate to save my life. ARRGGH.
Ok, calming down. I can do this. But not tonight. I'll work on it this weekend. And I'll have them all ready for next week, and I'll hand them in and I won't fall behind again. And I will NOT allow myself to play my new PS2 version of FFXI until I am completely caught up. A nice, long FFXI session will be my reward for catching up. Yes, that will work nicely.
God, I need multiple personalities so I can actually trick myself like that.
