Dare You To Move--

I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to pick yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Like today never happened before

It's amazing how the little things can make or break your day.

Silent Hill 3 is a fucking awesome game. I was just discussing with JP the other day how horror movies lately aren't really scary. They're just startling and suspenseful. They really don't do much to truly terrify you. The Silent Hill series is the only media form to truly achieve this, in my opinion. These games are incredibly immersive. I'm talking even more immersive than Final Fantasy, and that's saying a lot. The stories are all so detailed and intricate, they suck you in to the game world. The combination of graphics, sound, and story present an experience that I have yet to experience elsewhere: fright. Being a game, you're actively involved in what's going on on the screen. Bahhh, I'm not going to explain why its so damn scary, it just is. And the latest installment of the series is the best yet. Never before do I actually have a feeling of dread when I enter a new room for fear of another hideous creature ready to decimate my polygon persona. The game designers are true geniouses for their uncanny ability to instill dread in the player throughout the course of the game. Silent Hill doesn't just count on blood, gore, and startling movement to call itself a survival horror game. The whole atmosphere of the game oozes horror.

Anyway, battling demons with nothing but a steel pipe can do wonders to get your mind off depressing shit.

Also, my coworkers at Burger King are the greatest. I just can't help but smile when I work with them. They're really the only reason I'm still working there. They make the working environment fun.

And then after work, I started to feel like shit again, so I defied my parents and the law, and drove out to pick up JP despite my lack of liscence. And good times were had by the both of us. I'm too tired to go into everything we did now, but suffice to say that my mood is very much improved.

JP needs to, like, be an anti-depressant. Like . . . I dunno . . . JPdexol, or something like that. That sounds mediciney, right? Just swallow JP and all your woes go away . . . hehe, I'm dirrrrty. But dirrrrrty is better than feeling like shit. So yeah, let's hope this high lasts for a while.
