Poor Once More

But now I have a really cool computer. This is my first post from me NEW computer. I'm excited. Sure, I'm broke, and my next paycheck also goes to pay for it, but it'll last me for a while. So its an investment.

But yeah, exciting times. My paycheck ended up being $80 less than I anticipated . . . but I was still able to get it, so all is good. Apperantly my tuition assistance bonus was capped, which is a bunch of crap. But its Simmonds, so I should've expected it. Anyway, I also got a wireless adapter so I could connect to the internet here at home, at school, and as a bonus, it lets me transfer stuff from my old computer to my new one. In fact, that's what I'm doing at the moment. Well, not me, but my computer. Anyway, so I grabbed an adapter, and we paid for it and the computer at the cashier, and the adapter was put in a baggie thing, and we were given instructions to go pick up the computer. Well, we go to get the computer, and the guy gives us not only the computer . . . but ANOTHER wireless adapter! ROCK! Of course we didn't say anything. Now I can take the other one back, and get $54 in my pocket. And I need the money now. So yeah, yay for free wireless adapters because of stock boys' mistakes!

Oh, and the "kinda-cute-but-grew-on-me" guy was there again, and helped us with the computer again. But this time I noticed a wedding ring on his finger. MEh, oh well. But it's kinda troubling that I actually can look for wedding bands on people to see if they're available. It makes me feel soooo old. But yeah, his name was Skyler. And when I went to see The Village, the guy I bought my ticket from was named Schyler. I thought it odd I ran into two skylers, considering its a pretty rare name. I never even knew it existed till this past fall. But now that I think about it, its a pretty cute name. Skyler, and then Sky for short. Very cute. And yet cool at the same time. I am sooooo naming one of my kids Skyler.

Anyway, on the fitness front, I ate much less today than usual. I actually had a salad at BK instead of more whoppers. And it was pretty good. I'm also going to try to drink more water than usual. I'll be cutting back on pop calories, and it's supposed to speed up metabolism too. And, as an interesting turn of events, I found out tonight that my manager Mike is also a personal trainer at Golds Gym . . . the gym I have a family membership too. Being held accountable for things by my boss that I see everyday could be the thing to actually get me to do this thing. I haven't talked to him about it yet, but I'm thinking about it.

And I've also been trying to get to sleep at a reasonable hour. I Actually succeeded last night. I was asleep by 12:30, and woke up around 6 and couldn't go back to sleep. Tonight, however, it'll prolly be 3 before I even get in bed. Too much stuff going on. But I'll try and get back on track tomorrow.

Oh, and I finally finished installing FFXI on my computer . . . Wow . . . I can actually use the highest resolution setting! I never dreamed the graphics were THAT pretty! Ohhh, its very impressive. I love my new computer!!!!!!
