Fumbling Towards Ecstasy

YAY FOR MINNESOTA!!!!!

I have had the best weekend ever. Oh my god, there are no words to describe how much fun I had. It was that good. It definitely makes up for the incredibly dull and shitty summer I had. I"m not going to go into great detail, but I shall list the highlights:

Joe's family is so much fun! They're great!

Ragstock is still my favorite place to buy clothes. Ever. And I did, in fact, spend another $100 there. Mmmmmm . . . ruffle shirts . . . YAY!

Hella cute waiters at the Olive Garden named Jake are hot!

Doughnuts from fancy bakeries are worth the price!

Gay boys in a long term relationship are not nearly as rage-inducing as gay boys who have only been dating for 2 weeks because they hop from guy to guy to guy.

Gay guys who like Square as much as I do are hella fun.

Happy Tree Friends is the most disturbing thing ever . . .

SARAH IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! I have never been moved to tears of joy before~! I kid you not! The whole experiece was just so powerful and amazing! I don't remember ever feeling happier. Ever. I now know what "rapture" really feels like.

Yay for learning how to order drinks!

Yay for 3 story porn stores! But BOO to their absurdly high prices.

The Minnesota rennaisance festival makes the one in Council Bluffs look like a kindergarten play . . . But once again, BOO to their absurdly high prices! Is it too much to ask for a great sword for less than $200? Really?

Boo to rain cutting the festival short.

Yay for hella cheap porn at Movie Gallery!

The Cat in the Hat movie wasn't nearly as irritating as I thought it would be.

The heroine in the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is the DUMBEST heroine I've ever seen in a horror movie. She had SOOOOOO many opportunities to save her friends and/or kill the chainsaw guy, but she DIDN'T!!!! But I guess they wouldn't have much of a movie if they all survived, and she killed him 30 minutes into the movie. Very suspenseful and intense, though. Pretty good movie.

Chocolate chip/Buterscotch chip cookies are damn good.

And the music to seussical really is as irritating as I originally thought. I swear, if I hear the word "Seuss" again, I'm going to shoot someone. Well, practice just started, so I'm sure I'm going to hear it a LOT, so expect a lot of bodies in the coming weeks . . .

Oh, and I have my one acts (yes, plural) all planned out. Now I just have to see if Doc will let me do what I want . . .

Oh, and I had one of those fun revelation thingies this weekend. You see, all weekend, all I could think about was how I couldn't wait to see John Paul so I could tell him all about this amazing weekend and how I just wanted to be around him again, and I came to a realization. I'm not so much hurt that we're not going to date as it felt more as a rejection of ME instead of just a romantic relationship with me. This is exactly what happened with Bethany. I mean, honestly, I don't really want to date JP. I just want to hang out with him. A lot. And cuddle. A lot. So, the situation is really just like the one with me and Bethany, so now that I'm aware of it, it will be easier to tell stupid voices in my head to shut up and the awkward period will be hopefully be shorter. I talked with him on the phone tonight, and everything seemed ok for the most part. There were a couple times when I didn't catch sarcasm and got defensive, but that'll get better. I hope. So yeah, things are looking up in that area.

And with that, I'm gonna go get ready for bed. I gots lots to do.
