The one-acts were a HUGE success! We had soooo many more people than usual come see them! And we were all so awesome! I remember sitting backstage while The Love Course was performing opening night, and hearing the audience laugh! They laughed at my show! MY show! At the little gags I put in there, at my actors' performances! I was so proud of them! I was just so overcome with pride for them, that I got teary-eyed! They did so good! And Jenna and Tabby were phenomenal in Soap Opera! Jenna actually gave me goosebumps with her bitchiness!
Soooo awesome, I could go on for forever! I really could! Doc talked to me afterwards and told me how impressed he was. That really made me feel better than almost anything, that I impressed Doc. It takes a LOT to truly impress that man. And I got flowers! And hugs! And everyone sang "for he's a jolly good fellow" after the final performance! It was so great! IT was truly one of the best moments in my theater career thus far. And now I have my one-man show to look forward to! That's going to be just as awesome! And now I'm all pumped and excited about theater! I can't wait to get out into the real world and do it now! It's going to be so amazing!
Except I'm also kind of glad that I'm done for the semester. Now I have time to catch up on all my classes that I've been slacking in b/c ALL my attention has been devoted to the shows. I have a physiology test monday, a paper in Modern Drama more than a month late, and a research paper for World Civ coming up. Whew! I'm gonna be busy! But its all good. I'm on top of the world now. Not even asshole prick gayboys can get me down now! HA!
But yeah, its been an interesting weekend so far, even after the shows. But I work in 6 hours, so I'm gonna go, and I'll explain everything later. I just had to get all my joy out before I burst!
