So, at the moment I can't remember what else I was going to blog about b/c I'm so FUCKING PISSED! Ok, not really pissed, but irritated as hell.
So, I just went to practice. First of all, this was a pain-in-the-ass practice b/c we're supposed to be on break today and tomorrow, but I was stuck on campus an extra day so I could be here for practice. A huge deal? No, but it adds up to the whole. Not only was the practice at an inconvenient time, there was only one song I'm in that was being practiced. So, I had to stay on campus an extra day just so I could spend 5 minutes singing a song I already know backwards and forwards. Ohhhhhh, no, but that's not all.
Now, it would make sense to let the people who only have one song at practice to sing first, so they can get out of there. But nooooooooo. Greg, Matt, and myself, had to sit around the Fine Arts Building for an hour and a half before we even got to sing our song. All the other people went first. Then, when we thought we were done, Brandon decided he wanted us to learn another song tonight as well.
But did we get to just learn the song? No. We had to go sit around for another 45 minutes while the rest of the guys finished their songs. THEN we got to learn the stupid song, which was ridiculously easy, and we learned in less than 5 minutes.
Now, really, would it have been so horrible just to let us do the damn song and get out of there? For crying out loud, I spend more than 2 hours just sitting around with nothing to do! I hate that shit. It was so boring. Kelly and I were supposed to be back in Omaha by now since our father is leaving on some road-trip tomorrow.
Such a pain in the ass.
And now on to what I was going to talk about earlier.
I got a DVD with Xenosaga Episode I on it. So now I can watch all the storyline sequences from the game in order and not have to play the game all they way through. I watched part of it, and its just like a movie. I was wondering how they'd do it with cutting gameplay sequences, but from what I've seen, it flows very nicely. Although its only 4 of the total 7 hours of cutscenes from the game, so I'm curious as to what they cut. But yeah, I got the second to last one they had left! Go me!
And, as I just mentioned, my father is going on this road-trip to Massachusetts to see his family. Which isn't a bad thing. Not at all. Its just that my family is having money problems left and right and I honestly don't know how he's paying for this trip. That AND he's taking my car. Which, also isn't horrible, but it makes me getting back to Dana for play practice after the weekend a HUGE pain in the ass. And, finally, he's missing Kelly's 20th birthday, which, in my opinion, is just plain a shitty thing for a father to do.
And now I'm gonna pack up my computer so I can head home. Later.
