Yay! I have a free 42 day perscription to psycho-stimulants! Yay for free perscriptions! WAAAHOOOO!!! Now, I just need to get to the pharmacy . . .
And regarding my last post . . . yeah, there's me blowing things out of proportion again. Its interesting to realize that I was actually more pissed at the end of the post than when I started. Its like I invented all these implications and meanings as I thought about it. Does that mean they aren't there? Well, you can't know for certain. But I do know that Katie is a really great person and isn't hostile like that at all. It may not be directed towards me. I was just really hurt that I know that I can't be a part of it anymore. I really think that the GSA is an extremely important thing to have here at Dana, but I'm so busy with trying to graduate that I really can't afford the time to invest in it. The only thing I really had time to do was show support by going to meetings, and now I can't even do that. Apperantly lots of people can make it to monday meetings. I don't know who they are, but if they can get the GSA back on its feet by meeting on mondays, more power to them.
And Xenosaga Episode II is pretty freaking awesome so far. I spent most of last night watching the DVD compilation of the first game. I was really impressed by how well it all flowed together. I mean, it meshed the cut-scences together almost perfectly to form a really long movie. All the important plot details were included, and it was really cool. There were a few things that were obviously left out, but they were more background info stuff. I remember thinking that the stuff that was cut out was the kind of stuff they usually have in Director's Cut editions, or things they have as Deleted Scenes in most movies. Stuff that adds depth, but doesn't flow real well. That kind of thing. As far as the flow went, the only noticable problems were when battles take place. The characters would all be staring each-other down, ready to fight, and then it has to clip to after the fight because, well, the fight was actually fought by the person playing the game. Although it wasn't noticable hardly at all compared to how many epic battles you fight. The editing on this thing was AMAZING. Seriously, they could make one hell of a profit selling this at movie stores. I wouldn't be surprised if people started selling them on e-bay.
But, yeah, sequel is pretty cool so far. The cutscene animations are even more fluid than the first game, and much more fast-paced. Only complaint so far is that they changed KOS-MOS's voice actress. Now she sounds like a young girl when before she had a more mature, lower voice. Something about a super-powerful killing machine makes me feel like it should sound more mature, so there's some disconcertion there, but I'll prolly get used to it.
Fuck, its 4, and I have to meet with Dr. Murch-Shafer in 6 hours. God, I need to actually get to sleep sooner . . .
