I hate hate hate hate hate HATE when people post huge memes(half of which is empty worthless space) on thier LJs.
Why?
A) They just seem so pointless and worthless. All meme's basically ask you the same questions, and are usually about little, trivial details about nothing, really. If someone's really THAT interested if you prefer coke to pepsi, they'll ask.
Or read one of your 50 billion posted memes on the same topic.
B) When a meme would take up 10 pages if it was printed out, it's way to long to be posting in its entirety. I have a friends page on my LJ because I'm interested in reading what my friends have to say, and I'm too lazy to type in each individual's page address. So when someone posts some long-ass meme, it takes me 30 SECONDS longer to scroll down the goddamned friends page to read something that is actually important (as far as online journals go, that is).
C) I couldn't even come up with a half-assed reason for C, but things look more convincing when they have 3 arguments/reasons to support them.
So yeah, I'm lazy, and ya'll need to accomodate my laziness, and put your long-ass memes under an LJ cut so I can just skip over them unless I'm bored to tears and actually decide to glance at them, just to remind myself that boredom can actually get worse.
giggles...rants are more entertaining than memes....definitely...but..well..I still don't know the low down on your life (except that you've read LJ lately)...
